Quality
Hemp is one of the oldest crops of humanity and has been unfairly discredited in recent decades. The versatile plant is completely processed. For example, hemp seeds are processed in the feed and food industries, while hemp fibers are used to make ropes, paper, fabrics and bedding, for example.
Hemp seeds contain many nutrients such as zinc, magnesium, calcium, iron, vitamin E and B vitamins, important omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. It also contains a lot of protein and rich amounts of antioxidants.
Thus, not only is the hemp oil, extracted from the hemp seeds a real “superfood”, but the seeds themselves also fall under this category.
Origin and Harvest
Originally the hemp comes from today’s assumptions probably from Central Asia. Through human intervention, it has become more common for thousands of years, so the natural range can no longer be narrowed down. Today, hemp is found almost throughout the world in the temperate to tropical zones. Our hemp comes – depending on the customer – from Europe (Austria, Netherlands, etc.) or China.
